Charles Chewning, Jr. is president of SOLUTIONS, a Richmond, VA, based consulting firm specializing in accounting software selection. SOLUTIONS publishes The Accounting Library, a decision support tool designed to assist organizations in defining their requirements and selecting the best-suited accounting system. Currently three different editions of The Accounting Library are supported, featuring 160+ products ranging from QuickBooks through SAP. The program allows users to analyze up to 4,000 features per product.

Mr. Chewning has written a number of accounting software reviews and is a frequent speaker on the subject of accounting software selection as well as sales and marketing. Currently The Accounting Library is featured in CFO Magazine's annual review of accounting software, seminars sponsored by K2 Enterprises, sold under private label by Practitioners Publishing Company, and is the standard needs analysis tool for all Deloitte & Touche mid-market practices throughout the US and Canada.
