Geni is the Chief Operating Officer of Accounting Software Advisor where she is responsible for publishing, lecturing, and consulting on accounting software solutions.

Geni Whitehouse, CPA has worked in the accounting and consulting arena for more than 20 years.  

Highlights of Geni's career are presented below:

She began her career with Deloitte (then called Haskins and Sells) working in the Corporate Tax Division for more than five years.  She then became Corporate Tax Manager for Super Valu at their corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Geni left Minnesota to return to the warm south and became Controller of Atlanta-based, Touch Industries.

Geni built her own software consulting practice focusing mostly on Peachtree Software in the Atlanta area.

Geni took her consulting practice to  Gross, Duke & Nelson, CPAs where she was later made Partner.

Geni joined Evans Technology, one of  the top resellers and implementers of Primavera project management software, where she implemented  solutions for companies such as Delta Airlines, Digital Equipment, and Polaroid.

Geni also provided PeopleSoft consulting services to National Geographic in Washington DC for approximately one year.

Geni joined Navision Software as Director of Strategic Alliances and Product Marketing.  At Navision Software US, she was responsible for the creation of programs for CPAs and recruited top CPA firms to participate in these programs. Her most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of a software reseller has given her additional insight into software sales and marketing activities. 

She has been involved in key AICPA initiatives and events and was a member of the XBRL steering committee.

Last fall,  Geni appeared at the Atlanta based nightclub - the Punchline where she delivered a comedy routine to a room full of laughter.
