Tim Palin has been helping  mid-sized companies select and implement management information systems for the past fifteen years.  Tim has assisted hundreds of  companies in implementing accounting software packages.  He has assisted companies in developing and implementing financial models, custom databases, accounting systems, local area networks and office automation strategies.  During his career, Tim has worked with many of the top software packages in the mid-market space, these include Best Software’s MAS90/MAS200, Microsoft Axapta, Great Plains, Solomon, Macola, Platinum and  ACCPAC.

  In his current firm, Accuvar, Tim has been responsible for the sales and marketing departments.  Under his guidance, Accuvar has achieved Board level sales of Best Software’s MAS90/MAS200 product.  Their commitment to customer satisfaction and close attention to detail during the sales process has allowed them to become recognized as a leader in the Northern California Accounting Software community.  They currently focus their efforts on working with Best Software’s MAS90/MAS200 and Microsoft Axapta.

  Prior to forming Accuvar, Tim spent five years working in the Financial Information Management  Group at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells and three years working with a San Ramon consulting firm, The CTI Group.  While at Deloitte, Tim helped their executive offices in New York evaluate several accounting packages for the purpose of constructing national agreements with those companies.  Additionally, he supervised the development of a lost damages financial models in multi-million dollar litigation.  Tim also supervised the development and implementation of a national budgeting system for Deloitte's Executive Office in New York.  This system was implemented at 125 practice offices throughout the United States.
