SouthWare – Meeting the Needs of the HVAC Industry By J. Carlton Collins

At the conference, SouthWare’s management presented the attendees with a strong pitch suggesting that the SouthWare Excellence series product line offers a truly good accounting software solution for the HVAC industry. (For the un-informed, HVAC is an abbreviation for the Heating-Vacuum-Air Conditioning industry.)  SouthWare President James Clemens encouraged the SouthWare resellers attending the conference to target and attack the HVAC industry and he offered the following reason why he thinks SouthWare is such a good fit:

• SouthWare officials attended the International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition in January 27-29, 2003. This Expo features 1,800 exhibiting companies, thousands of products, and an estimated 50,000+ HVAC&R professionals including 1,000's of international visitors. Based on feedback from attendees, SouthWare is convinced that their solution was the best of breed solution presented at this Expo.

• One of SouthWare’s best customers is Bermuda Air Conditioning (BAC) who installed SouthWare recently and believes the product to be a good solution for their company. BAC is a large, privately owned HVAC company located in Pembroke, Bermuda. The company has been in business for over 50 years, and employs more than 150 people. BAC provides a variety of services including Air Conditioning Purchasing, Energy Management, Mechanical Contracting, and Sheet Metal Fabrication. The SouthWare product was installed by SouthWare reseller Neil Movold of DATAMAX.
