Traverse’s Underlying Technology

Programming Language -  Microsoft Access and Visual Basic

Steve Beckey, TRAVERSE Product Manager told us more about the technology :

TRAVERSE was specifically designed using 100% Microsoft components, so we follow their technology strategy very closely. Our migration from the Jet database to the SQL Server Desktop database for our Business Edition of the product and our inclusion of XML components in our Enterprise Edition of the product are good examples of this. We have also recently completed a significant migration of our code base that was intended to simplify our adoption of the .NET framework.

Database - Traverse runs on the Microsoft SQL Server database.

Source Code - Source code is available at no additional cost.
