Each version of Peachtree Complete Accounting provides enhancements. Peachtree Complete Accounting 2003 provides the following new feature items:

Drill Down Financial Statements allows you to see the details behind a financial statement number  with one click.

Forms Printing is improved by allowing forms to be printed from the Tasks screens in one step instead of three steps previously.

Improved Purge Functionality allows the user to easily get rid of old records from closed years which can result in increased performance in other functions.

Credit Memos in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are created using a separate screen which allows the user to indicate a return amount and a credit memo is automatically generated. RMA number fields are on the credit memo.

Daily Register Report section gives the user a summary of all transactions for a given day, with the ability to drill down to the detail.

Sales Order by Ship Date enhancements allows the user to identify when an order needs to be shipped and cross reference sales orders and invoices on reports.

Customer Statement enhancements allow the user to print detailed invoice and receipt information on statements and add invoice-specific notes to the statements.

Item Attribute Sets allow the user to specify Master Items and assign attributes such as color or size. Substock items are automatically created which enable a change made to the Master Item to be automatically applied to substock items. Reporting by substock or summary master information is available.

SKU Field provides the user the ability to store bar code information and print it on reports and forms.

Buyer ID Field allows the user to associate an inventory item with a specific employee or sales representative. Profitability reports and stock status reports can be printed by employee or sales representative.

Numeric Weight Field added to the Inventory Maintenance Window provides more detailed information on inventory items for reports and forms.

Sales Tax Enhancements enable the user to incorporate unique sales tax variations imposed by certain states.

"Out of Stock" Warning on sales orders allows for better control of inventory.

Item Pricing has been enhanced to allow up to 10 price levels for products and the ability to calculate sales prices at the global or individual level and name price level functions.

E-mail alerts send notifications of conditions you want to be alerted about enabling the user to better monitor business conditions.
