Productivity Enhancements in Peachtree Accounting 2004

E-mail Forms
E-mail quotes, invoices, sales orders, receipts, credit memos, purchase orders and customer statements directly using Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and other MAPI compliant email products.

Globally Change Employee IDs
An employee name change can be made at any point in the system and it is updated automatically through out the system.

Automatic Spell Check
Spell Check functionality works like Microsoft Word. New words can be added to the dictionary and entire dictionaries can be added.

Quick Entry Account Register
New account register format similar to a checkbook register with drill down ability for more detail.

Improved Purging
More flexibility to get rid of unwanted items from closed years which will increase program performance. Also ability to stop in the middle of a purge and restart later.

AR/AP Credit Memos
Separate screen for credit memos and also a field on the credit memos for RMA numbers. It is no longer necessary to enter a negative transaction to issue a credit memo .

When a chart of account id is changed once, all transactions are updated automatically.

SKU field stores bar code information and prints it on repots and forms. Buyer ID Field give the ability to associate an inventory item with a specific employee or sales representative.
