A Review of

Solomon IV

 Best Fit

I am continuously amazed by how many people I talk to who seem to think that an entry-level product like Quickbooks should meet the needs of their sophisticated company such as a $20 million manufacturing operation. Sometimes I want to slap these people across the face with a wet mackerel. People please wake up. No product is targeted towards businesses of every size, nor is any product ideally suited for every industry. With this in mind, here is where I think Solomon IV fits best.

Size of Company-Best Fit

Solomon IV is generally targeted towards companies with revenues between $5 and $100 million. It is typically used by companies with up to 250 users.  Solomon IV runs on Microsoft SQL Server.

Industry Solutions Best Fit

Solomon IV fits a wide variety of industries very well. In particular, Solomon IV should be on the top of your list if you are a project-centric organization.  This means professional service companies, engineers and even general contractors can benefit from the depth of features in this product.  In addition, Solomon IV's Field Service Series offer strong tools for anyone who provides repairs or services.  The features include service call processing and dispatching, service contract management, and equipment management .
