- New Web Technology
- Updates in the WebView technology provide a new menu
style and zoom views.
- Intranet-Only options for NetLink offer cost effective
approach for data accessing and transmission. NetLink applications are now
available for handheld devices.
- RCF packets used to automate the running of SouthWare
programs.
- TaskWise AutoReport has a new tab type. The TaskWise
contains a dropdown list of related RCF packets and is designed for
“invisible” RCF mode.
- Smart hyperlinks determine if applications are
running and create hyperlinks accordingly to suit the user’s needs.
- Views and Preview panes allow access to current data
and are built upon data request.

- FileView Technology
- FileView contains Lookup function which implements
Lookup/Query/Reporting Technology. This technology is useful for accessing
and manipulating records. Records can located, analyzed, described in
detail, printed or exported using FileView.
- RCF Packet Technology
- Packet of field automation information is stored in a
header/detail file.
- Designed to run in invisible mode which suppresses the
standard visible display/accept.
- Used for TaskWise AutoReports, ExecuMate Gather,
End-of-Day update, End-of-Day reporting and End-of-Month reporting.
- New Controls
- New GUI controls for Calendar displays, print
spooler/preview, MS MapPoint and MS Agent interfaces.
- Major Core Product Changes
- Major areas that have been revised or implemented
include the expansion of Stock Cross-Reference numbers, the expansion of
tracking numbers, bar code reference technology, override categories and
tracking file ledgers.
- TreeView Managers
- Displays and provides access to data in a relational
model style. Zooms to related records and can display a preview of
highlighted records.
